dc.description.abstract | This paper introduces the states of existence and characteristics of gay websites in mainland China. Based on the work and experience of the Information Clearinghouse for Chinese Gays and Lesbians (ICCGL) and its website GayChinese.net in the past six years, it also discusses the operation and significance of this NGO whose major attempts to reveal aspects of gay life in contemporary China by analysing the various cultural conflicts emerging within or in relation to the gay websites. | en_AU |
