Physical Data: mp 101 °C. Solubility: soluble in acetone, CH2Cl2, CHCl3, DMF, DMSO, Et2O, EtOAc, MeCN, MeOH, PhCH3, THF; insoluble in n-hexane, n-heptane. Form Supplied in: white crystalline solid. Analysis of Reagent Purity: NMR, GC-MS, and IR. Preparative Methods: nucleophilic aromatic substitution of 4-chloropyridine-2,6-dicarbonitrile and CsF in DMSO at high temperature. Purification: liquid–liquid extraction followed by silica flash column chromatography. Handling, Storage, and Precautions: refrigerate solid; toxicity unknown.
